I am a native of Columbus, Ohio and primarily a self-taught artist.
First recognized by the Columbus Art Gallery while in elementary school, I then studied art at Ohio State University and the Columbus College of Art and Design. Being a realist, the schools didn't change my style , but gave me a good technical background.
I paint a wide variety of subjects; therefore, my commissions include almost anything--such as abstracts, still life, landscapes, private homes, portraits and pets.
Currently, I show exclusively WILDLIFE and EQUINE art. As a realist and perfectionist, I devote a great deal of time and effort into each of my paintings striving for accuracy to sometimes a photorealistic, three dimensional quality through the use of vibrant oils to get the "true" colors and details of my subject.
My work is seen in many area art shows, galleries, exhibits and in collections throughout the United States.
